Minister of Health of Serbia, Prof. Dr. Danica Grujičić visited the General Hospital and the Health Center in Čačak.
With the director of the hospital, Dr. Dejan Dabić, prof. Grujičić visited the departments and pointed out that the hospital lacks staff, although only a few doctors in Čačak are on the unemployment register. "They should just contact the director of the hospital or the director of the health center and they can start working immediately." There is a lack of colleagues in psychiatry, midwives in gynecology, so my call is also to young sisters who are midwives - contact us, and our task in the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Finance is to approve it, and I don't think there will be any problems", said Minister Grujičić.
"I hope that we will be able to deliver another scanner to the hospital, and Čačak absolutely deserves to have a state MRI, because there are many patients who should be scanned." You have an excellent team of radiologists who are able to master the technology, and we are planning the procurement", said prof. Grujicic. During the visit, a reorganization was announced, so that in the future the Health Center and the General Hospital will form one Health Center in Čačak.
