The minister introduced the guests to the goals of the health care development program in Serbia, highlighting primary health care as a priority.
One of the steps towards that goal is certainly the retention of young doctors in the country and their return to the smaller, local communities from which they arrive in the bigger cities.
Deputy Head of Mission Otway and Minister Grujicic agreed that cooperation in the field of science and professional training is a field in which the two countries can cooperate in the future, and that the United Kingdom is interested in supporting future projects of the Ministry of Health.
