Minister of Health in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Dr. Zlatibor Lončar, spoke today via video teleconference with Dr. Giuseppe Feltrin and Paola Di Ciaccio from the Italian National Transplant Centre (CNT), about the modalities of continuing cooperation between the two countries in the field of organ transplantation.
Minister Lončar and Dr. Feltrin: Cooperation in the field of organ transplantation in the common interest

Minister Lončar informed his Italian colleagues about the restart of the transplant program in Serbia, within which 16 transplantations were performed in just ten days.
Dr. Feltrin pointed out that continued cooperation is in the interest of patients waiting for organ transplantation in both countries, and that thus it is necessary for transplant centers to establish permanent mutual communication.
At the meeting, the strong determination of both parties to continue and further improve cooperation in the field of the transplant program was underlined once again.
