Minister Lončar Meets Managers of all Health Care Institutions in Serbia

"Our tasks for the coming period are clear - public health care service must not stagnate and decline, because we must provide treatment using the cutting edge devices and equipment we procured until 2022 to every citizen. Furthermore, healthcare must not be the burden of the state, and our doctors and nurses need to adopt a patient-centered approach. Patients must not experience any inconvenience in health care institutions, I will not tolerate that. I expect that, as early as Monday, you will personally visit all departments of your hospitals, to talk to patients, to see what their impressions are of your hospitals, primary health care centres, to talk to employees, your colleagues, and to improve things considerably. I ask for maximum commitment, responsibility and professionalism from you as those directly responsible for the situation in your institutions," Lončar pointed out.
