Revised notice – extension of bid submission deadline

 

  1. The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Serbia Emergency Covid-19 Response Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for Laboratory equipment  for BSL-3 laboratory at the “Torlak“ Institute of Virology, Vaccines and Sera.
  2. The Project Coordination Unit, on behalf of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Procurement of laboratory equipment:

LOT 1: Various laboratory equipment (laboratory (CO2) incubator, laboratory freezer, laboratory refrigerator, centrifuges, magnetic stirrer, various sets of automatic pipettes, etc.)

LOT 2: Microscopes

LOT 3: Next generation sequencing platform

Detailed technical specification with quantities requested is provided in RFB. All goods should be delivered to “Torlak“ Institute of Virology, Vaccines and Sera within 10 weeks, margin of preference does not apply.

  1. Bidders may Bid for one or several contracts, as further defined in the Request for Bids document. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid.
  2. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016, Revised November 2017 and August 2018 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
  3. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Project Coordination Unit, Ms. Žana Cvetković, Procurement Specialist, e-mail: office_pcu@zdravlje.gov.rs and inspect the bidding document during office hours 09.00 to 14.00 at the address given below.
  4. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of RSD 6,000.00 or equivalent in freely convertible currency. The method of payment will be

  1. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12 December 2024 at 10.30 a.m. CET. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 12 December 2024 at 10.45 a.m. CET.
  2. All Bids must be accompanied by a “Bid-Securing Declaration”.
